What I'm Listening To (121408) pt. 1

Everybody Else - "Everybody Else"

This self-titled recorded is the first LP from LA trio Everybody Else. It sounds like a poppier, younger, and catchier version of California surf-rock band Rooney. The twelve tracks on this album will make you dance, sing, and fall in love with music all over again. Trust me. This album will change your life...or, at, the very least, keep you singing along for months to come.

Tracks to check out:
"I Gotta Run"
"In Memorium"
"Say Goodbye"

Emarosa - Relativity

The first LP from post-hardcore band Emarosa features the vocals of Jonny Craig, ex-singer of Dance Gavin Dance. This album doesn't sound as heavy as their previous EP, but it still sounds good. All I can say is that this album starts of strong with Jonny leading the way and ends with you wanting more (but in a good way). Buy it. Now.

Tracks to check out:
"The Past Should Stay Dead"
"Set It Off Like Napalm"
"What's a Clock Without the Battieres?

Dance Gavin Dance - "
Downtown Battle Mountain"

Such a good album. They sound like...a lovechild of Saosin, the Bled, Trophy Scars, and sex. Sounds like a good combination, right? You won't be disappointed.

Tracks to check out:
"Antlion"
"Lemon Meringue Tie"
"Backwards Pumpkin Song"
